Boston Based - IT Administrator/Release Management Coordinator
Job Description:
If you are new in the IT field and want to jump in head first into a challenging position at a dynamic software development firm, this might be the role for you. Responsibilities:
1. Release Management Coordinator - Upgrade and management of Sales environments and laptops. Preparation of environments for Demos, sales calls and conferences.
- Packaging of software patches, inc documentation, installation instructions for the sales and pre-sales team
- Deployment testing against demo environment for past and current bugs addressed.
- Release of patches pre-sales and sales

Boston Based Senior Technical Implementation Consultant - TC2 2006
The person in this role will be responsible for deploying large and complex financial software platforms designed for high volume trading at leading financial institutions. Fidessa LatentZero’s clients are all fast-paced trading desks and portfolio managers and demand a high level of performance which our unique architecture provides.
Our technical consultants work with cutting edge technologies including Tibco Rendezvous supporting a real-time SOA suite of applications. The position requires significant travel to client sites, and familiarity with databases and messaging middleware. You will be called upon to provide comprehensive technical expertise and guidance on the following:
- optimize system and database performance
- on-going system maintenance
- hardware and system configurations
- troubleshoot of operating system, database, and application level issues.
Required Skills:
- Strong Database administration (Oracle and SQL Server) at DBA level
- Experience with message middleware (SmartSockets, IBM Websphere MQ, MS MQ, Rendezvous)
- Knowledge of Windows and UNIX/Linux server environments
- Proven experience (2-4 years) implementing large & complex software platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
